ABSTRACT: This study examined the effect of feed restriction and manganese added to the diet and their effect on growth hormones and the anatomical characteristics of broilers (Ross 308). Two hundred twenty-five chicks were used and divided into five groups. For each group, 45 chicks were divided into three replicates, each replicating 15 chicks. The groups were 0+ (basal diet), 0+ Feed restriction eight h/day, 75, 100, and 125 mg manganese/kg feed+ Feed restriction eight h/day for groups G1, G2, G3, G4, and G5, respectively, and were subjected to feed restriction (8 hours/day) for a period of 8–14 days of the experiment. The results were significantly superior for G2, G4, and G5 in growth hormone in 8 days and significant increased for G2, G5, and G4 for periods 14, 21, and 35 days, respectively, while important increased for G1 in a carcass and abdominal fat, also significant increased for G1, G3, G4, and G5 in the thigh, and for G1, G5 in wings than in gastrointestinal anatomical was significant improvement for G4 in gastrointestinal weight and length in 21 days, and in 35 significant increased for G3, and G4 in gastrointestinal importance and for G1 in gastrointestinal size, respectively.
